Easy Fuel capless fuel filler
The Easy Fuel™ capless fuel filler system isn’t opened until the nozzle is inserted. When fuelling is done and the nozzle is removed, the system seals shut automatically. No tethered cap paint scratches. No mess. And no leaving the cap behind.
Performance
The 2011 Fiesta is the first and only North American vehicle to offer a 1.6L Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (Ti-VCT) I4 engine. This sporty powerplant delivers an estimated 119 hp and 109 ft-lbs. of torque and features a lightweight composite intake manifold, short intake runner length for high power, an electronic throttle body, and fully symmetrical runner length designed to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).
But Fiesta has another trick under the hood. It features a Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD) belt that drives the alternator, air conditioner, and water pump. This new technology eliminates the need for a belt tensioner — reducing the number of parts and weight of the engine. This in turn helps improve the efficiency of the engine.
