1. Front of the Vehicle
   
   BOLD, UNMISTAKABLE LOOKS
   Fusion brings the bold lines of the Ford 427 concept car to life in an inspired mid-size sedan.
   The three-bar chrome grille, projector beam headlamps and the upward front-to-rear sweep
   of its profile convey a swagger and attitude unlike any sedan in the mid-size segment.
   
   FLUSH BUMPERS
   Bumpers that are almost flush with the front and rear fascia provide a signature design element,
   eliminating the conventional bumper “shelf” and enhancing Fusion’s powerful profile. At the same
   time, they meet all federal impact standards, thanks to a high-strength polycarbonate-andpolyester
   composite located behind the fascia.
   
   PROJECTOR BEAM FOG LAMPS
   Powerful, bright-rimmed fog lamps are integrated into the lower front fascia where they help improve visibility in bad weather.
   
   WIDE, ASSERTIVE STANCE
   Ford engineers gave Fusion a wide front and rear tread. And by pushing all four wheels out to the
   corners, they complemented this with an assertive, stability-enhancing stance.
   
   SPEED-SENSITIVE VARIABLE INTERVAL WINDSHIELD WIPERS
   For enhanced visibility and convenience, the time between wiper passes adjusts to match vehicle speed.
    
2. Under the Hood
   
   2.3L DURATEC 23 DOHC 16-VALVE I4 ENGINE
   Key features include an aluminum engine block and cylinder heads, intake variable cam timing
   (i-VCT) and electronic throttle control. It delivers terrific performance, low emissions and pocketbook-pleasing fuel economy. (Standard on SE)
